Christina with The Johnny Lewis Big Band.

From Christina's unofficial official autobiography...

I was born on August 10, 1971 in the small central California town of Atascadero. From a very young age I have always enjoyed drama and music. At the age of six I started to learn to play the piano. My young years were full of drama, musical theatre workshops and being fascinated by the world of entertainment.
I was lucky enough to meet my great grandfather a few times and find out how he had spent his lifetime as "The Original Hoosier Hot Shot." His talent and humor always intrigued me. I also loved sending and receiving letters from him (see Gabe's page for some examples).

He had such a love of entertaining other people and was excellent at it. In fact, the last time I saw him was in Canby, Oregon in 1990 (pictures on Gabe's page) and the minute we came through the door he had his horns out and was playing for us. Soon my youngest sister, Melissa, joined him playing her clarinet and the next thing you know I am on the piano playing Scott Joplin's, "The Entertainer." That moment has inspired me in a way that will last the rest of my life.

It was shortly after my dear great grandfather passed that I had the courage to begin singing. I had never sung before the age of 20. I had always acted or been on the piano. I had always secretly longed to sing. So, I started singing the National Anthem at my basic military training graduation from the United States Air Force in 1991.

Since then I have continued to sing, act, play the keys and be in several different arenas of the entertainment world. I, too, love to make people happy and love to bring a spark to their eye and a twinkle to their spirit. It is a part of who I am and genetically speaking it was passed "down the pike."

I have had fun winning talent competitions and singing the National Anthem as a model for Budweiser for the Tucson Toros. For two years I did the Budweiser thing and met many other people. I was lucky to be in a music video with John Michael Montgomery. The Air Force sent me to talent training camps when I would win competitions.

I have enjoyed singing for numerous weddings and still do. I love to act. My most recent was in a production in California singing, dancing and acting as the Fairy Godmother with over 200 children in the cast. I have been in several bands, trios and duets. I love jazz, country, swing, Irish folk, blues, a little rock and roll, classical and opera. I also was with A-1 Talent Company in California where I did many different types of professional singing telegrams. One that I really liked was playing the part of Marilyn Monroe and singing for a birthday party. I am still doing singing telegrams for all occasions. You name the occasion, dress, songs...I will present it in a personal, fun, wild and zany way to your friends and loved ones. Recently, I was singing here in Olympia, WA, with the Johnny Lewis Big Band. I love jazz and swing! I have a wide variety of experiences and love to create whimsical performances. It is just in my blood.
